LI: To celebrate our success
Last week PBS had their Summer Learning Journey celebration assembly. Mrs Grant came and presented our certificates and prizes. My certificate is for participation. The SLJ was a fun activity to do because it helped us keep our learning going in the holidays. My favouite activty wsa build a bird house because it was a task that we could do by finding things around the house and using them to make a bird house.
For this activity I coloured in my own octopus, I’ve picked this because it was very simple and easy to color. I chose my Octopus to be a shade of purple because it one of my favourite colours even do a octopus could be shade of reds, browns, yellows, greens, blues, whites, blacks, and metallic sheens.
For this activity we needed to design a unique prosthetic leg for Mosha. A elephant that stood on a landmine losing one of her legs, she was only 7 months old when this happened, people thought she wouldn’t make it but other people came togather to create her a new prosthetic leg.
I used this colours to represent one of the habitats for elephant “African Safari” I also drew siluets of other animals that would normally live there as while
For the up coming school holidays, we have a Specal way of keeping our learning going with the Summer learning journey. We have a lot of fun activity’s and also after we blog the activity we can collect the badges and place them on our badge board and link the blog post on the badge.
For this task we got to learn about Giant Centipede and find some facts and to also answer some questions and find some facts thatg were interesting to us.
For this activity we had pull out our smart Maths skills to find out all of the questions and at the end to make our own problem and the answer for our problem. One thing that I liked about this activity was that we could also learn about the creature with the link on the side of the Google Drawing.
For our step it up Challenge we made a paper spider web. My favourite part of this task was that we could unlock our inner creative ness to make it look cool.
The hardest part of this task was to find the best angle top cut the paper to make the web look cool.
For Our First summer learning Journey Task we got to explore 10 different Creatures with super powers and to Pick one of them to resherch. I chose the Geko lizards and one fun facts about the Geko Lizard is that it can climb up to really high places and because of there sticky feet they can climb up to ceilings and hang from the ceiling and won’t fall.
For our task with got to chose or create a creture with super powers and we could also work toggther and DanielP And I Work toggther to make a five headed Dog but with three snake with the speed of a cheater and much more different powers. One thing that I liked about this task was that we could think of different creatures that we could combine to make a much stronger beast.
This Week for our summer learning journey our Kick start was to draw some spider webs with a pen and paper. I really enjoyed this task because ethis task let us be more creative and unlock our inner creativeness in us. One thing that I liked about this task was that when we failed we always kept on trying.
